Media Access Pass Application
Detour SoCal is accepting a limited number of media applications from photographers, videographers, content creators, and media professionals interested in covering our upcoming events.
To maintain a safe, organized, and professional event environment, professional photography and videography equipment will only be permitted inside the venue with an approved Media Access Pass.
Approved media personnel will have the opportunity to capture our events while contributing photo and video content that helps showcase Detour SoCal and the High Desert community.
MEDIA PASSES ARE LIMITED. APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL.

We’re accepting a limited number of photographers, videographers, content creators, influencers, and media outlets to capture the Detour SoCal experience. Applicants will be selected based on experience, portfolio quality, event coverage needs, and willingness to share content with our team.
Professional Equipment Policy
Media Pass Required for Professional Equipment
Professional photography and videography equipment is only permitted with an approved Detour SoCal Media Access Pass. This includes professional cameras, lenses, video rigs, stabilizers, tripods, and lighting equipment.
Guests may still capture personal photos and videos using smartphones. Professional equipment without approved media credentials will not be permitted inside the venue.
Content Sharing & Media Usage

Approved media must agree to share event photos and/or videos with Detour SoCal for use in current and future marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional materials at no additional cost.
Creators retain ownership of their work while granting Detour SoCal permission to use, edit, and distribute the agreed-upon content royalty-free. Specific deliverables and deadlines will be provided upon approval.

Required application acknowledgments
1. Media Credential & Equipment Policy
I understand that professional photography and videography equipment is not permitted inside the event venue without an approved Detour SoCal Media Access Pass. Submission of this application does not guarantee approval.
2. Content Sharing Requirement
I understand that approved media access is conditional upon agreeing to share event photos and/or video footage with Detour SoCal, according to the deliverables and deadlines specified in my approval agreement.
3. Promotional Media Usage Permission
If approved, I agree to grant Detour SoCal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute the agreed-upon content for its social media, website, advertising, event promotions, and future marketing materials, without additional licensing fees. I retain ownership of my original content and confirm that I have the rights necessary to grant this permission.
4. Event Policies & Restricted Access
I agree to follow all event rules, venue policies, staff instructions, and designated media access restrictions. I understand that my media credentials may be revoked for violations.

I confirm that the information provided in this application is accurate and understand that submitting an application does not guarantee media credentials.
